Practicality and economy combine in the shape of this lovely Ford Fiesta Zetec.
Despite the registration number, which is clearly a private plate of some sort, the car was registered on 1st March 2014 and has covered just 54,000 miles from new.
It's finished in a not-unattractive shade of bronze with a contrasting black fabric interior, although if you were feeling uncharitable you might call it 'brown' (and strangely the DVLA have it listed as yellow. Whether Ford gave the shade an unusual name I don't know)
The car is powered by the 1.5 litre Ford diesel engine, and being a smallish car the engine pulls it along very nicely indeed. Indeed the acceleration is brisk, and the gearbox and clutch are nice and smooth. Being a smaller car should also help it achieve an easy 50mpg, if not more on a decent run.
It also gives low emissions, meaning that it qualifies for the zero road tax.
It has all the extras of the Zetec model, including power steering, electric windows and mirrors, air con and CD player with AUX and USB inputs.
Currently MOT'd until September, and so ready to drive away, although a new MOT can be obtained prior to delivery if desired.
The car has previously been in a minor rear-end shunt, which damaged the bumper and tailgate. However it was the lowest category of damage and is registered as a Cat N. There was no issue with the car being returned to the road.
