Just taken in part exchange is this Clean Air Zone and ULEZ-compliant Vauxhall Agila 1.2 petrol.
Registered at the end of April 2010, and finished in black with a complimentary charcoal interior. Surprisingly the car has covered just 56,000 miles from new.
On the road the car drives well enough, with the 3-cylinder engine being quite eager. Obviously it runs out of steam a bit as the speed climbs, but it will sit happily enough at 65-70. Urban areas are its natural habitat, though.
Good points: the car comes with a new clutch and new starter motor, 4x new tyres, 2 keys and an MOT until July 2025.
Bad points: the rear bumper been backed in to a fence at some point and is held together in places with duct tape. The worst thing is that the gearbox noisy in first and second gears. It doesn't jump out of gear, and so is sound in that respect, but it is noisy. We were told it's because the mechanic who clanged the clutch forgot to put oil in it when he put it all back together....
Because of the noisy gearbox, the car is offered cheaply as a runner but with room for improvement.
Arguably an deal vehicle for a delivery driver.
Ready to drive away.
